Resilience is about the ability to adapt and grow following adversity. This is a learnt ability, and can be developed by anyone as a life skill. In our daily lives, whether as students or working adults, all of us face stresses, pressures, roadblocks, and failures. Some of us find this challenging, and hard to cope with mentally. With proper understanding of how our mind works, and to have some mechanisms or tools, we will be able to cope better mentally. This workshop will be fun and easy for both adults and youths (aged 16 to 18) as it is both lecture and practicum based. The session will cover concepts of mindfulness, mind body connection, importance of breath and concentration, and 5 techniques of mindfulness practice that can help one to cope with stress and pressure.
